A meeting of the Standards Consideration Sub-Committee will be held in the Executive Room, Swale House, East Street, Sittingbourne on Wednesday 21 April 2010 at 2:00pm.

Members: Councillor Chairman not yet elected (Chairman), Councillor Vice - Chairman not yet elected (Vice Chairman) and Councillor Patricia Sandle.

Report for Item 3

The Standards Assessment Sub-Committee referred a complaint about a possible breach of the Code of Conduct to the Director of Corporate Services / Monitoring Officer for investigation. The Monitoring Officer has arranged for this matter to be investigated and the Investigators report is attached as an exempt appendix to this report. Members will see that the Investigating Officer’s conclusion is that there is no breach of the Code of Conduct.

That under Section 100A(4) of the Local Government Act 1972, as amended, the press and public be excluded from the meeting for the following item of business on the grounds that it involves the likely disclosure of exempt information as defined in paragraph 1 Part 1 of Schedule 12A of the Act.
